Have there been any substantial changes in the actual xmtr and mount assy and interconnect over the time period of the 4000 - 7000 series of modem ?

Thinking of sharing a 7000 series modem and finding an older dish/rf head in order to avoid moving dish/rf system from the house to a tripod sytem.
