Is is possible to select the reading of the New Posts Since Last Visit? Doing that makes it easy to not miss any new posts that might be of interest. Thanks.

No, this software does not have that option. It does allow you to see the topics with posts in the last 24 hours, and the main page will have highlighted icons for those forums with posts since your last visit. About the best we can do for now.
