Does anyone know if the DW Navigator and Datastorm Administrator programs are 16-bit or 32-bit? Both will run under Windows XP, but Windows VISTA will not be able to run 16-bit programs.

Thanks,

John

John,

Don't know for sure, but I'd bet dollars to donuts that they're 32-bit. That's been the standard since Windows 95, which predates both of those apps by a few years.

Sterling,

Thanks, that was my assumption too, although you sometimes find little old 16-bit pieces and loaders of applications hanging around even when the main application is 32-bit.

I did get a beta version of Vista and loaded it on an old machine along with the DS and DW software. After a brief re-configuration, everything looked like it was running ok but I wasn't connected to the D1/DW4000 so I don't know for sure if it would actually work. Hopefully, it will all work on a real system next year (fingers crossed).
