I am back on - Thanks to You - Yes, I am going to donate! I'll come here vs waiting for the installer of whom we were to have 1 year support - grrr Thank You isn't enough! So then ...... If this problem happens again, follow exactly what I've performed here - correct? Also, what about the horrific noise or is just my imagination? Thank You AGAIN!

NO!!!!!!!!!!! It is unlikely that anything was wrong in the first place other than a communications problem between the D3 and your computer. I can't say what the noise might be but if you get a chance to go up on the roof during a search let us know where the noise is coming from.
