Just want to thank Don, Michael, Maurice, Motosat and everyone who helped put together the rally. Thanks to Maurice sharing his knowledge in the tech sessions, we believe we have now graduated from the "push and pray" mode. At least I understand enough of the basics of the interfaces and all the infomation available to help us troubleshoot if necessary. Unlike when we got here- "the dish wont deploy what do we do now? It has taken us 3 years to finally be able to attend the rally and it was definately worth it.
I was sad to hear Don say that he may not spearhead another one, but understand his view. We all know it takes a lot of time and preparation. (BTDT) So how about a slight format change? Say a mini rally (focused on troubleshooting, with limited attendance) for 3 days in Salt Lake with a visit to Motosat?
thanks again. Alan Tackman and Bev Lidstrom

Michael and I have discussed at some length whether we will do another of these, and are not sure at this point. We will not, however, decide for awhile yet - I think at least March before a decision is made.
One thing that this rally (50 RVs) has reinforced is how much more fun and easy to administer a rally of this size is, compared to last year's 115 RVs in Tucson.
If we do it again, we may consider placing a 50 RV cap on attendance.
