Hi All,

I'm remodeling the coach('05 built in '04), with new TVs and DVD. The Winegard box has been fading away, picture wise. Tried to open and clean contacts to no avail. Replaced with other switching gear. Issue is what can I use to replace the "Ant. Power" function of the box? Lots of info out there that is confusing me. Opinions?

Rick

I recommend that you pick up the Winegard Sensar Pro. Not only will you have a new power supply for the antenna but you will have a built in meter for use in properly pointing the antenna as well as a secondary booster for the weaker digital channels.

Rick
Take a look at: http://winegard.com/mobile/switch.php

If this is what you currently have and are wanting to replace, Winegard has discontinued their distribution box line.

OK!
Thanks for the quick responses!
Gary - The box I had was even older. Had VHS & DVD sections, square buttons. Saw some Winegard tech say the newer HDMI TV stuff was too much for these boxes so they gave them up.

Bill & Biker - I thought this might be the answer but wanted better confirmation, Thanks again.

Rick,

There are lots of TV signal amplifiers available. I did a search on eBay and 200 came up. Pricing is very low.

You do not want a TV signal amplifier to accomplish what Rick is wanting to do. At a minimum you need the Winegard 12V power supply and then you could add an amp if necessary. Or, with a lot less effort and a lot more function you could install the Sensar Pro with has the required 12V power supply plus so much more all in one compact box.
