Bob Hatch doesn't use a tripod system anymore but he did the best job of documenting how to set one up that I have seen: Bob's instructions
He hasn't updated the directions lately so note the following important change - other than the very first time you do this when you will actually need to do a registration install, you no longer need to pass Cross Pol. That little bit of knowledge will save you a lot of grief.
