Are there any repair people in the Palm Springs area? I am having problems with D3 identifying a Sat.

Glenn,
Your signature shows you are assigned to 83W for your connection. Do you know what version of firmware you are using on your D3? How old your satellite table is?

How long have you been having the problem? How long has it been since it worked normally? My D3 takes around 5 minutes to lock on, normally.
