After setting up my Hughes Net tripod near Moab, UT, I couldn't get online. I was pointed to SatMx 5 with a S/S of 67 and a crosspole of 84.
Looking at DW7000 Systems Control Center, after going pointing, it would say the Keys were off and pointing was good.
Looking at DW7000 Systems Control Center after running DSS tool or going through Hughes registration, it would say Keys were good and recieve and transmit were bad and S/S was 15. ???
This went on for an evening and half the next day.
After repointing and changing all the cables, going back to the old cables, it started working after giving up on it.

Dale, have you checked the "new" cables? faulty cables/connectors can cause odd results. Every time you move something results can change if the fault is intermittent.
On the other hand, there have been several (2) others who have been having "issues" with that bird the last couple of days.

Iv'e been having a problem with a Birdog meter on Sat Mex 5 lately. I called Birdog tech support today and they told me there is a problem going on with Sat Mex 5. Don't know if this could be part of your problem or not.

117/1230 is a 30 symbol rate transponder. Glad to hear that things are working OK now but a number of 117 users are reporting periodic problems so the most we can hope for is that Hughes was having a problem which has now been resolved.
