A friend has a new to him MotoSat HD TV system that did not search correctly. We are in Redmond and they came out at 7PM to his rig and reprogramed his controller (has the SD slot and took about 15 minutes) which solved his problem. No charge and they would not even drink his beer that I offered them. Dave says Thanks again MotoSat.

Sounds like great customer service! How far did 'they came out'?

I still remember when I got my DataStorm installed. I offered Bill Adams a beer and he acted like he would no way in hell. Maybe I should have offered a fine wine.

I hope that was meant as a joke or a friendly ribbing, but it sure doesn't make me sound very nice. I am not a beer drinker so while such an offer would be appreciated it's not one I would normally accept. I'm not much of a wine drinker either, but if you have some good bourbon or Manhattan fixings, I'm in!

Less than a mile! MotoSAT and Dick are at the FMCA rally going on now in Redmond, OR.
However, the MotoSAT folks had to travel from SLC, UT to Redmond, OR along with the required hardware and service personnel so maybe you could say they came 661 miles!
It's still good service any way you look at it.

Sorry Bill, didn't mean to offend you, it was meant to be a friendly ribber. I thought it was funny how clear you made not wanting a beer. Bourbon! I like Bourbon. I should have offered some Old Crow! Oops, you did say a good bourbon. The next time we meet, I will have a fine Bourbon for us to sip on together.
