From what Oldbird posted, it is quite likely that RTC does not have the necessary information in hand to charge your card, and you will have to provide it for them.

Didn't you guys get that email saying, like Bill said, the information will be transfered on the 29th unless you say no?

Just a note that I had informed them that their email was getting stopped by some spam filters based on the only thing being in it was a file.
I suggested they resend it just as a standard email to be sure people receive it and could them Opt Out of their credit card info from being sent before the deadline they set.

No USPS mail from them yet. As of yesterday.
Only a couple Motosat emails with attachments.
Email did say I would't have to do a thing. they would take care of the CC transfer.
But I can't reminder if I used a CC random number for Motosat charges or not. if I did the CC number worn't work if transferred to someone else.

I just talked to Dawn at RTC about cancelling my service since I'm out of my motorhome for good. She said some interesting things, first was Motosat only sent them a spreadsheet with their 1200+ users on it with no CC info. Second, Hughes asked RTC to take over the account activities from Motosat, and she expects that she will have to contact each user to update their billing unless something changes. I was sad to hear that there was only 1200 Motosat users, I expected more. A friend of mine tried to give their system to a emergency rescue unit in their area and they didn't want it. Things are changing in the satcom world. I will have some terminal equipment for sale as soon as I know it's free of Hughes. 2-7000s, D2, D3 SL5/nomad2 Thanks for all the great info on this site over the past 8 years. You kept my systems working flawlessly (Hughes not withstanding) over those 8 years.

That should read "only 1200 Motosat Hughes customers."
At their peak, over 3000 Datastorm users had Hughes service through Motosat. I'm actually surprised that there are still 1200. The decline in RV satellite use has been steady and significant for about 4 years. You can see it in other ways, such as the peak number that were on our map of over 700 and today's 308. Blame it all on 3G/4G. (I tend to use 3G/4G more than satellite myself these days)
Of course there are a lot of Datastorm Users who have Hughes service through other VARs such as Mobilsat, or have the service direct from Hughes, but Motosat probably accounted for the majority.
On the non-Hughes side, it is likely that the number of users of Motosat products has increased, but relatively little of that is RV, and probably most get service through providers other than Motosat.

I haven't received anything from RTC, either email or snail mail. Should I be concerned? Our service is on suspension right now.

We have service and no doubt our CC is expired. Nothing from RTC as yet. I imagine it will take a few weeks to sort everything out especially since Motosat was using QuickBooks and RTC uses Peachtree Accounting.
