I was working on a font like that when you posted. Took a looonng time to code it up! He used bitmaps, I used pixel drawing point-by-point. The result is version 1.0.10

Don,

New font looks a lot better. Except on my system the Numeral 1 comes off as two pixels wide where other numerals line width is one pixel. This makes the number with a one look odd.

OOPS: Bug Report!

I ran my download past the warning set at 30 MB. The warning sounded and the tray icon reads 28. Only that it stopped counting down. Still stuck at 28. If I mouse over the icon it says 17MB remaining. If I show the big screen it also says 17MB remaining.

I think this bug is due to the RED background. Gets stuck and quits counting down when RED.

Good catch! The icon wouldn't change until the level went 5MB higher than the alert setting, and I didn't change that when I went to an icon that needs to update no matter what.

It is fixed now, version 1.0.11

Actually I made the 1 "fat" on purpose, but I guess it is distracting?

Not for me, just one of the comments. It's highly unlikely that I would ever need or use this utility so I am just running it to see if it works. Pay no attention to any other feedback.

Sorry Don, I have to agree with Bill on the fat "1". But in our case, we will use this utility every day, throughout the day.

I liked either version of the '1' [Smile] Will there have to be an update every time the modem software changes or are you just scraping the fap_meter page?

Just scraping the page. As long as they don't change the URL we are fine. If I have to go to one of the advanced pages I do know how to find the Command number, so that would not require version changes.

Things still being worked on with this utility: An option on the configure page to start the program when Windows starts, so people don't have to manually put it in the Startup folder, and I'm chasing issues with Vista/Win7 compatibility and the UAC.

First, let's be clear here. I didn't care about the #1, that was another poster. I only mentioned that the #1 was an issue that had not been addressed one way or the other. I am just here to test the program as it is not something that would ever be of any value to me (not meant to diminish the value of the program to those who would use it).
