DSLookAngle just quit working for me. I uninstalled and re-installed using a download from June and still no luck. Then I did a fresh download, install and still it will not come up at all. I have just laid out our route for the next year and was starting to enter all the data for each stop. Now I am at a stand still. Any suggestions?

First, use Task Manager to see if it shows as running, and kill it if it is. Then use Regedit to look at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Arcata Pet Software\LookAngle

I would delete the entire entry. It will rebuild when you restart, although you will lose any added satellites if you have them, and will have to add them back in.

Let me know if that doesn't take care of it.

Task Manager shows it running, there is an icon for it in the task bar, but when I click on it nothing happens at all. I killed it with task manager, I completely deleted any and all shortcuts, folders and files that pretain to DSLookAngle. I did download it to my laptop and it works fine, but I don't always have my laptop on.

That did it. the Regedit did the trick, and I get everything I had before. I never did add any new sats. Thanks for your expert help, once again.

I suspect it was open but offscreen. There are ways to get it back in that case, but deleting the registry key also got rid of the bad position data.
