Another helpful article from Bill Adams:

The sat table is installed by opening the MotoSAT page on your computer. On the blue bar on the left, near the bottom, you will see a link to "Import / Export Files". Click on this link.

At the top is a configuration link that you do NOT want to use. At the bottom is a link to the Satellite Table. You would use the Browse (locate, find, whatever) button to locate the file on your computer where you saved it. It will be an Excel file ending with .csv . If you downloaded a .zip file, be sure to extract the file first so the .csv file exists and can be found at a convenient location such as your desktop.

After you find the file using the Browse button you just double click on the file and you will be returned to the screen you started with but with the file location filled in to the left of the browse button.

Now, just click on the Import Sat Table button and after 5-10 seconds you will be returned to the MotoSAT home page with no indication that you have accomplished anything. That's what you want. Only if there was some kind of an error would you see any interactive message.

To have the new satellite table take effect you need to turn off the controller (D3, D4, J1) for about 30 seconds and then power the unit on again.
