Verizon has added a new feature to their MyVerizon website. If you have a Verizon account setup you can get notifications of your data usage from your cellular air card. Tonight I received this message in my e-mail.
Please note that mobile number 321693xxxx has used at least 50% of its monthly data allowance.
I will also get an e-mail when I hit 75% and 90%. These numbers are user configurable and could save your "skin" if you use a bunch of data each month. Since my data will reset in 10 days I am just about on target without much concern for going over. The good news is that with the new 4G service, even if I went over by a full 1GB it would only cost an additional $10 which is what I was paying for the 3G service in the past.
