Hope everyone is headed to sunny Kerrville, TX for the 2005 DataStormUsers Rally. This promises to be the largest DataStorm rally yet.

Those who attended one of the previous DataStorm Rallies know that the food is great, the comradery is wonderful and the technical assistance is unbeatable.

Everyone has the opportunity to find new friends, meet the people that are only names on the forum, learn what new products MotoSat has or is planning, learn how to troubleshoot your own system, ask questions and get answers based on solid field knowledge from some of the best in the business. MotoSat will have technical staff on site to assist you and dealers/installers will be available to help you upgrade or install a new system.

If those aren't enough reasons to join us in Kerrville, the area is beautiful and the weather is nice.

Oh, did I mention Door Prizes? We have been promised some great Door Prizes courtesy of our friends at MotoSat.

This is a great opportunity to have fun, learn more about your system, meet the President and Vice Presidents of MotoSat and meet some of the nicest people on earth.

See you Sunday!!

Sure, rub it in Michael... [Wink]

For the first rally, I was stuck on the other side of the country. [Frown]

For the second, I was in another country (Canada). [Frown] [Frown]

Now for the third, I'm on another continent, and RV-less to boot. [Frown] [Frown] [Frown]

The only question is, how much further away can I get before the next rally?

Hope everyone enjoys themselves. Post reports and pics back here, please!

You might shoot for the MOON next year. Heard they might be taking Civilians soon. Then your only other option for year FIVE would be someplace like Mars or Saturn.

Hope we meet someday soon! [Roll Eyes]

Hi Y'all

I will be leaving Crockett Texas for the Kerrville rally Sunday the 23rd. This will be the first rally I have ever attended and I am looking forward to it.

See you in Kerrville.

Now that there are at least a half dozen people at Buckhorn, I've activated the special rally-only map. You can find it at http://map.datastormusers.com/buckhorn.cfm

I like your map. This time, I will be on it.

We are doing a Civil War reenactment here in Crockett. We should arrive in Kerrville late Sunday afternoon.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

We have arrived and we are on the map!
Glad to be out of MS/LA (and the service department at Prevost, ouch!). We are looking forward to actually getting to enjoy our second rally as the first one in Tampa did not leave us a lot of free time.

For those who have not seen, or been on, one of our rally maps before, a note about getting yourself "right":

It is virtually impossible to make the map exactly accurate, but you can move yourself around on the map if it has you wrong. In order to move one site to the left, add .00015 to your longitude. To move one site to the right, subtract .00015 from your longitude. More or less, for partial site positioning. Similarly, .00015 is about the difference in latitude from one end of a north-south site to the other end.

It matters most when we start to get more dense, as members are right on top of one another.

Charlene and I want to send our greetings to all at the rally. We are there with you in spirit.

Please enjoy yourselves and take lots of photos.

Doing well, have a CAT Scan in the early morning here in Charleston for radiation alignment purposes. At least it is not my organ grinding arm.

I will be keeping an eye on everyone, Happy Halloween! Here is my latest video effort since my operation in Boston.

We now have 11 on the Buckhorn map, but there are at least 7 or 8 Datastorms here that aren't plotted.

I was one of those 7 or 8. I got that fixed now. Thanks for the reminder.

We wish all at the rally to enjoy! We are stuck in AZ unable to attend. I know this will be a good rally! The main folks are there and will take care of all your needs. Greg
