I'm having a problem pointing my Directv 3LNB tripod mounted dish. History: we got the dish professionally installed late last year (mounted on a power pole next to our fiver). We were parked next to my office and had a normal street address at the time so it was considered a home setup. We finally hit the road a couple of days ago and are currently staying at Rainbow's End. The tripod is perfectly level, skew is 66, elevation is 51 and azimuth is 204.
We get a reading in the low 90's on sat 101, transponders 28, 30 and 32; Sat 110 transponders 8 and 10. Sat 119 is showing no signal on any of the 11 transponders.
I've tried setting it up as a 2LNB, but that is just for sats 101 and 119 and I get no signal on 119.
I've walked most of the campground looking for anyone that also has a portable 3LNB dish, but can't find anyone.
I'm really at a loss on why I can't get a signal from Sat 119. Could it possibly have something to do with the fact that we had local channels at our previous zip code? I really don't want to call Directv customer service they are no help with technical problems/questions.
Thanks for any help in advance.

It sounds more like a problem with a cable the LNB or the switch.

Change out the items one at a time until you find it.

Thanks for the suggestion, Don.After spending over an hour on hold and getting passed from one representative to another, I finally got to speak with a technician. I was told to only look for a signal on transponders 1 and 2 on the 101 sat and ignore everything else. Finally located them and we have directv again.
What an experience in frustration.
Oh, well, live and learn.

Looks like you got some good advice from the DTV support guy... For future reference, always use 101 transponder 1 for initial sighting and tweaking and then look at 110 fo maxing skew. On 110 you should have a good signal on transponders 8, 10 and 12. If you have a signal on 8 and 10, but 0 on 12, you need to adjust the azimuth, you are on the wrong satellite...
