has anyone made a data cable for the birdog meter have to install several systems and misplaced data cable cant wait for one to get to me can someone advise on making one thanks

Lemuel, If you can find a Radio Shack, take a look at the following data cable: Model SCP-6200, Catalog # 17-776 Data Cable for Sanyo
This cable has a serial connector on one end and an RJ45 on the other. I'm not positive but I think this will work. Take your BD in with you to do a test fit before you buy. Good luck
