I often wonder how a company can manufacture and sell such a problematic product as the D3 controller and still be kinda in business.

Will not peak on the bird. When I peak by hand, days later I hit the
RePeak command on Datastorm Administor OR issue the peakaz ??? command via telnet - it goes through all the motions and finishes much worse then started.
Today went from SQ80 tp 45 and SNR from 11+ to 5+.
Any ideas other than re-flashing again.

Ted

You must have gotten a bad one.
My D3 is now 6 years old and I have had no problem with it yet.

Once you get locked on and on line. You can use Don's program to manual raise signal numbers.

Ted,

There is a problem with properly finding 93W. The D3 does properly identify 93 but during the process of fine tuning it slides over and finishes on 91W. You need the modified Sat Table that is available here on the forum. It is dated 5/21/12.

Thanks Don
I do have the latest tables from the forum.
I will reload it though.
You guys that have not had problems - count yourself lucky. I have two and both nothing but problems.

Don, remember my AZ numbers always off and very unusual (-399882) ? Found that to be in my spiral cabling in the F2 between the two plates . It has been good for about 6 months but went bad last night in the rain.
Guess time to come see you and have it looked at. Will most likely fix itself when the sun comes out and I will put it off.. [Mad]

Ted,

Thanks for the update on your AZ count issue. Good to know you found the problem in the dish internal wire wrap.
