MotoSAT, manufacturer of the mobile high-speed satellite system dubbed "DataStorm," has reduced the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of the product from $6,295 to $3,995.
Many RVer's, Emergency Organizations, Educational Bookmobiles and several government entities use the popular mobile Internet system across the nation. This reduction is due part too more efficient manufacturing techniques and product maturation.
"The DataStorm has proven to be the lowest and most cost efficient mobile high-speed Internet system available on the market today," says Mark Wright, CEO and Chairman of MotoSAT. "The MSRP reduction will be welcomed by many who could not afford the system and need high-speed Internet access to no matter where they travel."
The DataStorm achieves download speeds of 400 to 1500 Kbps or about 30 times faster than a 56K modem. The motorized satellite system is software controlled with one-click automation with a personal laptop computer. Signal acquire time and instant connectivity range from three-to-seven minutes from a stowed position.
