Datastorm Rallies Our 7th Datastorm rally took place at Flying Flags RV Resort in Buellton, California, from October 18th to the 24th, 2009. Buellton is located on US 101 northwest of Santa Barbara, in the Santa Ynez valley. It is a tourist destination, and is home of "Pea Soup Andersen’s." A few miles away is the community of Solvang with wonderful Danish bakeries and smorgaasbord restaurants. Santa Barbara, of course, is a great place to visit if you haven't been there before. This was a small rally, by historical standards. While we certainly like to see lots of members show up at these things there is no question that a small rally can be particularly enjoyable. There is actually time to get to know one another, discuss and work on problems, share knowledge, etc. We had far fewer formal sessions, and there wa more free time.
