Hi all. I would like to know if anybody out there is using Skype to talk computer to computer, computer to cell phone and computer to land line phone? I.ve been using Skype on my new system in the last 2 weeks talking to my wife on her computer in Canada. Does anyone know if this is okay with Hughes Net and will they charge me extra for this service?

It's just fine! If it works, do it. There are no restrictions on this kind of use.

MOE,

Are you still having success with your Hughes Net system and using Skype. Do you have good voice quality??

I'm a full time RVer and am thinking about getting a internet satellite system put on my RV. I'm thinking about getting the followng: Datastorm F1 Auto-Deploy Satellite System (.74-Meter Dish; D3 Controller; HN7000S Modem; 1-Watt or 2-Watt Transmitter and maybe 1 static IP address).

However, before I make a big investment I would like to make sure I can consistently use skype with it.

Amy feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank,

jam4travel
