Hi:

I'm currently researching Satellite Internet access for my camper and would be grateful if anyone could give me some indication as to which is the best provider. I'm currently looking at HighesNet and Starband

"Best" is difficult to answer, since neither is wonderful when compared to non-satellite internet providers.

One thing that can be said is that for every Starband user out there in the mobile world there are at least 100 using Hughes.

That does not mean that Hughes is better, simply that when anything goes wrong there will be a lot more help available in forums like this.

Thanks' for the insight. I believe that G74 can only be used with HughesNet. Where as the G74 can be used with a number of service providers. Can I use the G74 with HughesNet?

The G74 can be used with Hughesnet only. I think you might be referencing the G75 as being usable with other services. MotoSAT does not support Starband with any of their antennas but they are capable of being used with this service.
