If you don't have any luck with a retail sale it appears that we will likely be somewhere along your travels. Let me know if you can't find any other buyers.

The rails are attached to the plate with flush mounted posts that do not protrude below the aluminum plate. How is someone going to duplicate that? Your suggestion would require bolts from the underside that could not be flush mounted and would cause serious mounting problems. Barry, you and Cindy are very special people and I wish you both the very best, but this idea is not a good one. Leave the plate and rails (or just the plate and take the rails) but don't try to talk someone into thinking they can make their own base plate.

I agree with you Bill. It is possible as it was done by MS. By the time any ones gets the plate counter sinks holes mounts the rails and then mounts on the Motor Home the cost for a new one would be cheaper. Having been there done that makes more sense for some one not to worry about a few more $$$ to make a easy install. I guess a spade is a spade you had the appropriate answer. Hopefully Barry will find a buyer with or with out the abilty to make a base plate. Mr.Sat
