Anyone know of a place in QZ that will accept UPS or FedEx delivery. I know I can have mail sent to the PO via General Delivery but the PO does not accept UPS or FedEx packages. I was hoping to have a purchase sent to me while in QZ & they will not ship US mail only UPS or FedEx. Mike

Businesses change often in Quartzsite, so year-to-year info is sometimes no good; in the past there has been an office supply place that does UPS reception called Quiet Times a block or so past Satellite Advantage on Main Street. Check and see if they are still there.

Your best bet would be to make friends with someone there who runs a business, Restaurant or office supply as suggested, The fire chief or.. Well you get the idea, someone who is there to stay
If you just need one or two boxes over the next week or so, you might get with just about anyone who has an address. Fed-Ex and UPS need to have an address to deliver to

Quite Times is still there and they accept packages for you from UPS, FedEx and Airborne (DHL?). It's only $1 for most packages and $2.50 for packages over 50 pounds.
Ship to: Your Name c/o Quite Times 90 E. Main Quartzsite, AZ 85246
You do not need to let them know it's coming, just ship it and pick it up once it arrives.

UPS delivers after 4 and Quit Times is closed. It has been a mess with people getting things sent back. I called the C of C and they will accept them or also Bill Plunket Reality right behind them will also. Talk to them nice. I needed parts for my Datastorm and DirecTV units and they were wonderfull and glad to accept FedEx for me. Please don't abuse this.

IF you need parts for a Datastorm or any products made by datastorm Motosat can ship to their booth in the tent for you At least, till the end of the week

How long are all of you going to be down in Quartzsite? I am in LA but thinking I might head out there mostly just because I've never been there and it seems from the map that it's ground zero for a bunch of you............

We are probably just about peak time for Quartzsite now, and it will slowly thin out. There are 102 between Blythe and Brenda on the map, and I would expect in a week or so it will be below 90, but there will still be a lot here. We plan to be here at least until February 8th.

I know Don's here until at least the 27th as the BOGSAT won't take place until after his Bluebird rally. We are hear for the rest of this week but unsure about plans beyond that. Scott's here long term but very busy with the show through this weekend.

Every year at this time there is an RV and Vacations show "under the big tent" here in QZ. You can read about it at http://www.quartzsitervshow.com/rvshow.htm It draws a very big crowd (less each year though, it seems) for the 9 days and then things start thinning back out again.

This year started out slow, and "seemed" to be way below normal crowds last week. It picked up heavy, though, and traffic on northbound 95 was backed up past La Posa South by late morning, and I don't think it is ever any worse than that (that's over 2 miles of single-lane stop-and-go to the traffic signal at Kuehn).
The Blue Bird rally is at the end of the pavement in La Posa south. About 35 here so far, with another 10-20 expected in the next couple of days. Quite a sight to see so many classics!
On the 27th we will move back to our usual spot in La Posa West, and will hold the BOGSAT on the first day that I can predict good weather. Those who are in the area and on the map can expect e-mails 24 hours in advance; others should watch the forums for info.
