We will be traveling the Eastern Provinces the next two months--PEI, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland. We are presently on 89W, have a 7000 dish and D-2 controller.
What are our chances in receiving Internet access and/or Directv while in Canada?
Thanks, Noreen and David

The 89W satellite is likely going to get quite weak in Nova Scotia. 99 and 117 have a better signal in that area. I don't know of anyone who has been able to get sat. internet or sat. TV once you get past the very Southern part of Newfoundland despite a footprint that shows it should be possible. I would suspect that 99 would be the better choice if only for the higher position in the sky.
