Both Ethersat services on 105 and 121 are down this morning, so if you are trying to get online with them it is not a problem on your end.

Thanks, Don. It's always good to know there is no need to start fiddling with things...

We're having to send up smoke signals from our campfire to communicate. Hope EtherSat comes back online soon.

My Hughes dish is backed up into a tree in Dawson City, YT, so with Ethersat down I had to search for WiFi.

While Bill's message is funny, I think that the iDirect folks are among those most likely to have multiple connection possibilities.

Yesterday at 10 AM the EtherSat service went down. Here at MotoSat we are trying to restore service and need those people who want to get their service restored to call in and give us some information like their serial number, please have your serial number ready and call Chad Scott Franco or myself at extensions 369, 355, 376, 350. You may dial directly by preceding those numbers with 801-478-8xxx. Be sure to mention if you are a firefighter or other first responder in service at this time.

There is no answer at all four extensions. I'm afraid this may not get corrected until Monday. John, if you need more information than the serial number can you please indicate here what is required so that we can email it to you guys?

Thank you.

John is on the east coast and likely asleep - I expect to talk to him tomorrow and will make sure he sees this if he hasn't already.

Is anyone using the isat program on windows 7?
It will not connect to the modem unless I use a cross connect cable then the program sees the modem but will not allow a login.
Can a option file be loaded via telnet?

Ted

I've run iSite (which I assume you mean) on Windows 7 64-bit. XP compatibility and Run as Administrator.

I've never done it directly connected to the modem, always with a router in-between.
