I am the first to complain about bad support. And I'm sure I will soon [Frown]

If we complain then we should also complement.

I just got off the phone with MobilSat support on unacceptable slow speeds that just started for me today. I needed to transfer files to a server this am.
They (Boyd) took care of me on the spot and got my speeds up to where I could finish today.
I still have other issues but overall happy with the move to MobilSat.

Not sure if this is where to post this, but only place I know.

My speeds our going up and down like a yoyo.
We were all put on 93w from 74w and they don't have the bandwidth to keep all of us going with good speeds.
I started keeping a log of my speeds at 6:00 am It is 1.17 down
And at 8:00 it drops to 495 down and by 10:30 down to 199 but my upload is never good eny were from high of 78 to low of 45 down.
I have been complaining to them about it but have had nothing but { were trying to fix it } I'm hopping that they can open up more Bandwidth some were and get our speeds up to what were paying for.
I have had E-mails from them that they our tracking my modem
and will have a answer on friday for me.
Hoping for the best .

My speeds plummeted to a crawl the last day or so. I emailed support, never heard back but it did improve. I mean, I was getting 3 bytes per second! It eventually got back up to as much as 1300 bytes.

TDMAMike recently "complimented" me on my "rants" on here, so I might be right there with you...

I also am experiencing slow speeds slow downloads
very unsatisfactory service. Low quality seems to be the norm. lately. I am spending more time on my Sprint card, than my satellite. WHY?? Support has been very little help, just guessing, I have a bad wire connection when hours before it worked just fine. Low quality signal, right now is, 54, but usually around 44.
Anyone have an answer?

Larry,
We have non of your information. what Sat, what plan, Mobil or fixed, so on....

The one thing I have found, is before I put a complaint in to really make sure computers are not downloading something. Too many times I get mad only to find out it is a very large e-mail, and update I did not ask for or something like that.
On the peak hours I do not expect great speeds, but I do look for 1/2 of what I pay for.

I run three computers all day so it might be more of an issue but without the MPR1000 or now MBR1400 it would be hard to find that out. Mac and Linux are always doing something in the background. One of the reasons I hate windows..

JMHO.

Ted
