Today I had to store the dish due to high winds. I used the Blue light on the D1 and it worked fine. Tonight I was going to bring the dish up and several times I got the following message: 'An error was encountered loading satellite communication software. This may require that you install the software provided by your ISP." When I clicked on "okay" the DA page would come up but the satellite information shows "all NA.". I've turned off the modems and the D1 and then turned it back on. All the green lights are on and cycle back and forth. Can someone give me some help? Thanks Bob

If you are using Win XP I would suggest using a Restore Point from the last time the system worked properly. Assuming you have not installed anything you can't afford to lose, a system restore should get you going again.

Everytime I see this error, I do like it says. Re-install the DW software. You are going to need to use a long usb cable to connect the receiver straight to the pc.

Bill, thanks for the info. I did the restore last night and this morning I tried to put the dish up and it worked. It did take a while to get it to crospol. I got a TX5 3 times and it went into a "measure" mode several times and finally locked on. Then I used the 4020 point program. Where I'm parked I have a mountain partially in my way but I can't move it. Ha Ha. Thanks again. Bob
