As you know FAP Free Time (FFT) is posted as 2am to 7am EST, but not anymore...
I discovered a BUG by watching hnFAPalert after the DST Fall Back. For the past three days at exactly 6:47 am EST while downloading a large file the FAP allowance counter starts counting down. This should not happen until 7am EST.
In other words Hughes has stolen 13 minutes of FFT !
I haven't checked see if FFT now starts before 2am.
Can someone else confirm this and let me know of best way to contact Hughes to fix this problem.

You must have some really big downloads if in 3 days you haven't managed to get it done in 861 minutes.
Is that 300 minutes of FFT actually in their contract with you?

Larry's point is that FFT is not a contract item, and therefore not something they can "steal." They giveth, but they don't guarantee nor are they obligated in some way to keep any part of current FAP or FFT rules in place.

I started last nights download at 1:45 ET and HN usages report only shows me using 1 minute in the hour before 2am so FFT has been shifted a bit. My Daily Download Limit (DDL) started counting down at 6:47. OK by me.

Contract or no contract, Hughes has a written policy that allows users to download as much data as they like without penalty and without effecting their FAP status from 2am - 7am Eastern time. Until that written policy changes it is a binding agreement. Now, who wants to hire a lawyer to go after those 16 minutes?
